Marice Ruggiero

Sebastian and I met at the University; we dated for six long and happy years. On April 4, 2008, he decided to propose. It all started with my sister's phone call inviting me to go with her to New York City for a job interview. The first thing I did was call Sebastian and tell him I was leaving for New York. I was so happy, without knowing that a big surprise was awaiting me.

Once my sister and I arrived, we walked all through 5th Avenue till we got to Central Park. Once we got there she told me to wait, I didn't understand anything until someone grabbed me by the arm, It was Sebastian standing there very handsome with a blue suit in a beautiful white carriage. I was so happy I couldn't believe he was there. We went for a ride and, there in the middle of Central Park, he proposed. It was the happiest day of my life.

The day we went back to México Sebastián bought me a bride's magazine at the airport. The magazine included a DVD which I watched once I got home. It had a bride's runway. Then I saw it, my dress, it was the most beautiful dress I have ever seen, but I couldn't see the designer's name, so I played it over and over again trying to see the name. I told Sebastián that I had founded my dress but I couldn't see the designer's name. He told me to look at the end of the DVD for the credits, so I did that, and once I got like four names I started looking into the web pages of each one until I found it in the AMSALE web page. I was excited, I saw the main store was in New York City. That day my parents were flying to New York for vacation, so I called my mother and asked her to go to the Amsale boutique. I made her an appointment and gave her the address and my dress name, "Candace." She got to the boutique and a very nice lady showed her my dress. Once my mother saw it, she started crying with excitement and then called me.  The lady in the boutique gave her the address for a boutique in México that had some of Amsale's dresses.

Once she got back we went there and asked if they had my dress, and to my surprise they did and it fit me perfect. That's when I knew that dress was meant for me.

We got married in a beautiful hotel boutique www.casayalmakaan.com on the beach. It was my perfect wedding, with my perfect dress and of course my perfect groom. Thank you Amsale for being part of all of this.
