Barry and I were married June 27, 2003 at St. Andrew's Church in Drexel Hill, PA. After church, we enjoyed a reception at Colleen's on the Parkway in Philadelphia, PA.
Barry is a 2nd Lt. in the Air Force and we both wanted a traditional military wedding with the sabre arch and groomsmen in their uniforms. The bridesmaids wore Amsale dresses in slate blue, each wearing a different top of thier choice. Everything coordinated perfectly from my dress, to the bridemaids, to the uniforms and flowers. It looked great!
Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of what my wedding would be like and what dress I would wear. My mother and I always looked through the bridal magazines when we were grocery shopping. I would pick out the dresses I liked and she would do the same. I had a vision of what I wanted to look like, timeless and classic.
I found my dream wedding gown at the Bridal Garden in Marlton, NJ. Before the Bridal Garden, I tried on over 40 gowns and was discouraged because I loved every gown I tried on! My mother mentioned to me that we should just go to the Bridal Garden and see what they have to offer. So we made the appointment and I went one afternoon. My bridal consultant showed me over 10 gowns and left the Amsale sash dress until last. When I tried on my Amsale, I immediately knew this was the one for me! All the other 40 gowns could not compare to the way the dress looked and made me feel! It was so timeless and classic. I chose the white gown with blue sash. I loved how elegant the sash made the dress look. The dress is and was amazing!
Our wedding day was perfect. It was the most spectacular day of our lives (so far!)! After the wedding, we enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon. We now reside in Florida.
