Brad and I met through a family friend, Cheryl. I was a bit skeptical because sometimes your parent's friends have a little different taste. He came to the house, and was SO handsome. The minute I shook his hand I knew I was going to marry him. Corny but true. We dated, got engaged and the rest is history. I owe Cheryl a lot.
I am not much for shopping in general. After seeing how my older sister was kind of herded around in the various bridal shops—that was not my style, and seemed so impersonal—we started at Neiman Marcus. We had a wonderful bridal consultant, Louise. After about 4 or 5 dresses, we tried on my Amsale gown. In a word, done. That was it. No other dress would be like this and was so me.
