I have always loved Amsale, so I kind of knew I would end up with an Amsale gown—even before I started planning my wedding. But I wanted to see what else was out there first, so I went to Kleinfeld and Saks—to try on as many different styles and designers as possible. Amsale was my 3rd stop—I had seen a dress in a magazine (just the top) and wanted to try that one on immediately—it was the first dress I tried on there—and didn't want to take it off. Everyone says you just know when you find it—and they were right! As I looked at myself in the mirror, I could just envision my wedding day and knew that that was the dress I was going to wear—it was simple and elegant and little bit sexy—it was so me! Monica (my consultant) brought some others out just so I could see, but I kept coming back to that first one—and I left the store with my dress!
I enjoyed every second of my experience with Amsale—and looked forward to coming into the store for fittings—you just feel special trying on gowns there.
The day of my wedding all I kept thinking was how I could not wait to wear my dress! All of my alterations and adjustments worked out so perfectly—and I had my ideal dream wedding dress—a dress that fit me (and my personality) so well, and enveloped the feel I wanted for the wedding (simple and elegant, with a little something special). People who I had just met that night were telling me that my dress was so me!
Not only did I love my dress, my Amsale bridesmaid dresses were perfect as well! I loved the way all of my girls looked and they did as well! And everyone kept telling me how great my bridal party looked—they were so flattering on everyone's body type—and they felt great wearing them.
I only wish I could wear the dress again!!
