My wedding day was everything I dreamed it would be. We had 6 months to plan it from the time we were engaged, so there was no time to spare. Thankfully, everything fell into place.
Honestly, the easiest decision I made was choosing my dress. At first, I thought I wanted an A-line style with a low back. But when I went dress shopping for the first time, I changed my mind upon putting on the dress I ended up getting. My mother, grandmother and sister all became teary-eyed. I knew it was the right dress because I truly felt like a bride and a princess wearing it!
It was a feeling I will never forget and it remained with me on my wedding day. I will never forget walking down the aisle with my father and seeing all eyes on me. People said I was glowing!
On the Friday before my wedding when the wedding party and our families arrived, nothing else mattered but enjoying the moment. I tried to take in everything. My husband and I still try to relive the weekend; we find ourselves talking about our wedding weekend all the time. We wish the night could have lasted longer, but we treasure the memories. Having all our friends and family together while being the center of attention doesn't happen often. It truly was a memorable occasion!
