My wonderful husband Hal and I were set up by mutual friends. After a very romantic proposal at Auberge du Soleil in Napa in August 2007, I couldn't wait to find the perfect dress. I knew I wanted something classic, elegant and a little sexy. Amsale had always been one of my favorite designers, so I wasn't surprised when I fell in love with a particular gown of hers in a bridal magazine. I just had a feeling it would be end up being the one. I was so excited when I found out there was going to be a trunk show at Kleinfeld the weekend I was looking for gowns there because my appointment at the Amsale Salon wasn't for a few weeks, and I was dying to try on the dress I had been drawn to in the magazine. After trying on a number of gowns by various designers, I tried on my gown and burst into tears along with my Mom, Mother-In-Law, Sister and Best Friend. I knew I had been right from the beginning!! It was meant to be.
I never could have imagined feeling as beautiful and glamorous as I did on our wedding day. It was definitely everything I had hoped for and more. The dress was perfect, and Hal was blown away. It was such an amazing experience, and I will cherish the memories forever!
