Michael and I were married on December 2, 2006 at the Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk, Virginia. My dress was absolutely perfect for the setting of our event! The marble interior of the museum boasts a beautiful double winding staircase, which was all aglow with candlelight that night.
My Amsale gown, which was purchased at Saks in Richmond, Virginia was actually the first one I came upon. At first seeing my dress on the hanger I wasn't quite sure it was the look I was after. My mother had insisted that I try the dress on, instinctively knowing this might just be the perfect dress for me. The look on her face told me I had found "the dress." Upon seeing myself in the mirror I realized my search had ended. The gown fit me like a glove and had the perfect mix of elegance and modern grace that I wanted for my art museum wedding.
