I knew that I wanted a classic look for my wedding. I had seen Amsale gowns in magazines and I knew that she would have the look I was going for. My mom and I went to Bridal and Formal six months prior to our day knowing that my dress was there. The second gown I tried on was an Amsale and I knew it was IT. I tried on about twenty dresses in different styles (including another Amsale which i liked) per my mom and the saleswoman but my choice was made. This gown was The Dress, the dress that I didn't want to take off from the moment I put it on. The dress that from that point on, I couldn't wait to put on again. It had the classic look that I wanted, a look that will still look good when my husband and I look at our wedding photos fifty years from now. Another plus was that it was champagne, one of my wedding colors. At each fitting, I hated to take it off, another sign that I'd made the right choice. I looked at other gowns at the Saks Bridal Salon (just out of curiosity) and nothing changed my mind. On September 1st, I was so excited with idea of wearing The Dress to marry my husband. I had that "glow" in all of the pictures I took with my husband and my bridal party. Now, almost three months later, my guests still talk about my dress. It really made an impression on not only me but those around me. I have to make sure I preserve it with love and with the idea that I may wear it again, on an anniversary. Or if I'm so blessed, pass it down to the next generation.
I can't thank Amsale for designing such a beautiful gown. She helped make me such a happy bride!
